Factoid:
Once contamination is introduced
into a lubricant, the lubricant begins to degrade. Conversely: Eliminating contamination from a lubricant extends the life of the machinery it lubricates. The Answer: Remove contamination at the earliest opportunity.
Step
No. 1: The OILMISER™
FILLorDRAIN™ FDD-1100-5533 Dispensing Wand
The Drum
Mount OILMISER™
FILLorDRAIN™ is unique for both dispensing oil from a
drum, or filling
it. Installed in the 2" NPT pipe bung, a 1" aluminum down pipe
extends
to the bottom of the drum. The drum remains safely in the upright
position, while the oil is dispensed from the first gallon to the
last.
The 5 micron air filter, insures that airborne contamination is
eliminated
from the drum throughout the dispensing procedure. All OILMISER™ FILLorDRAIN™ drum dispensing units are shipped fully assembled, and ready for use, with a 33 inch long aluminum down pipe. Step
No. 2: The OILMISER™
FILLorDRAIN™ FDD-1100-SP-5533 Dispensing Wand
(with a sampling port.)
From
the external 1/4" NPT
pipe port, oil samples can be drawn from inside the drum. The
risk
of compromising the integrity of the oil sample with airborne
contamination
is eliminated. Base line cleanliness levels can now be
established, at
the very beginning of the oil maintenance process.
Step No. 3: The OILMISER™ FILLorDRAIN™ OLF-1335 Kidney Loop Filtration and Dispensing Kit
All Off-Line Filtration and Dispensing Kits are shipped fully assembled with a sliding suction line that extends to the bottom of the drum. This gives the OLF-1335 the unique capability to function in a kidney loop application and also as a dispensing wand. With an
OILMISER™ Off-Line
Filtration Kit, an underutilized filter cart can quickly become
a
valuable
stand alone, kidney loop filtration
system.
Whenever
a dispensing wand is not in an oil drum, it can be kept clean,
upright and ready for immediate use in an OILMISER™ DWS-1135 Dispensing
Wand Stand. JLM Systems Ltd.
