For the maintenance professional, oil sampling, and oil analysis continues to deliver the needed confidence level for "condition based" oil changes.

Reducing the risk of introducing contamination when drawing the sample, increases this confidence level.  To this end, we now offer our sampling port option. 

This option includes an external 1/4� NPT female pipe port on the body of the FILLorDRAIN�. 

A 15 inch sampling tube is attached internally, and extends directly into the reservoir.  Special pipe clips insure that the position of the sampling tube within the reservoir is precisely established.

The oil sample can now be drawn with the oil at operating temperatures, and in full circulation in the reservoir.

This makes the oil analysis truly representative of the system oil, thus eliminating many of the questions that previously challenged the report.

The standard OILMISER�  5 micron air filter, or optional air breather remain in place when the sample is drawn without compromising the integrety of the reservoir or the sample.
