is located in British Columbia, Canada. For
over 35 years, JLM has designed and developed a unique family of
tools
and accessories dedicated to the safe and efficient management of
industrial
lubricating oils. From the
outset, our motivation
was to increase the quality, efficiency and
productivity of
several routine maintenance tasks we identified as major contributors
to mechanical failure and down time. Today, we continue
to manufacture and market OILMISER™ Technology
to a worldwide customer
base.
OILMISER™ Technology
targets the industrial manufacturing community, and the
industrial
supply networks that service this market segment around the world. Within
this wide range of industrial activity,
our focus narrows to the Engineering and Maintenance Departments. More specifically, we target the Reliability
Departments that function as a separate entity under the maintenance
and
plant engineering umbrella. The Reliability
Department staffed with trained and certified personnel is tasked with
monitoring, measuring, and tracking each and
every nuance of a machine's performance. For lubricated
machinery like gearboxes, speed reducers, power train components and
hydraulic systems, this means collecting current and reliable
data at
every step in the lubrication chain, from the oil
supplier, to the machines it
lubricates.
Recognizing the direct linkage
between machine reliability, down time and profitability, OILMISER™ Technology
challenged the
traditional fluid handling and oil maintenance procedures that were
contributing to the ever expanding
wear cycle for lubricated
machinery.
